We extend our prayerful support to you and your family at this time of loss. We want you to know that we are willing to be of assistance in any way that you may need. We are also aware that we cannot remove your pain, but hope to be able to assist you in whatever way possible as you find God’s loving presence even in the midst of grief.
The booklet attached here is prepared to assist you in planning the Rites of Christian Burial that will be celebrated for the deceased. It contains: the principles by which the Catholic Church and this parish approach the death of its members; answers to some of the most often asked questions regarding the rites of Christian burial; and details regarding the funeral liturgy with choices for Scriptural readings and hymns to be used in the funeral Mass.
